How We Assess Your Application
At Brussels College, we consider each applicant individually. Our admissions team reviews your qualifications, experience, and personal achievements to determine the most suitable entry path for you. Below are the general requirements for our programs.
Brussels College is an International Program Center of Northwood University (Midland, Michigan, USA — HLC-accredited). Admission to our Northwood-awarded programs follows Northwood's own admission requirements, applied here in Brussels.
Undergraduate Programs (BBA in Management & BS in Computer Science)
- Academic requirement: A high school diploma (or equivalent) with a "C" average (2.0 GPA on a U.S. 4.0 scale), or a minimum of 5 "O" level passes (British-based systems). Applicants who do not meet this may still be admitted with a passed GED (4 subjects). Transfer students need a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 and a minimum of 31 Northwood University semester credit hours before starting the bachelor-level program.
- English proficiency — standard entry: IELTS 6.0 overall band score for unconditional entry directly into Year 1 (or an equivalent score on another accepted exam — see the full table below).
- English proficiency — conditional entry: Applicants scoring between IELTS 5.5 and 6.0 are still admitted directly into Year 1, on the condition of mandatory concurrent enrollment in Brussels College's English-language support program alongside their coursework.
- Below IELTS 5.5: Not directly admissible into Year 1. These applicants are directed toward our Pre-University Foundation Program — coming soon, pending final Northwood academic approval. It is currently in development and is not yet a confirmed, enrollable option.
Graduate Program (Master of Business Administration – MBA)
- Academic requirement: A completed undergraduate (Bachelor's) degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a U.S. 4.0 scale), or the recognized equivalent, plus a current CV/resume.
- English proficiency: IELTS 6.5 overall band score (or an equivalent score on another accepted exam — see the full table below).

Undergraduate applicants who completed a minimum of 3 years of secondary education entirely in English, and graduate applicants whose undergraduate coursework was delivered entirely in English, may have standardised test requirements waived upon submission of official documentation.
Required Application Documents
To assess your eligibility, we typically require the following documents. Additional information may be requested based on your profile.
- A valid passport or national identification document.
- High school graduation certificate/diploma or equivalent. For MBA applicants, your bachelor's degree certificate and transcripts.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV), required for MBA (graduate) applicants.
- English language proficiency certificate (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL), or proof of prior education in English.
- Results from any national or international university entrance exams, if applicable.
- Optional: Any additional certificates or documents showcasing academic achievements, awards in sports or arts, research papers, or publications.
