Program Overview

This Master of Business Administration is a 60 US credit-hour (120 ECTS) program designed to prepare future business leaders for strategic roles in global organizations. It combines Northwood University's 36 credit-hour DeVos Graduate School MBA core curriculum with 24 credit hours of complementary units designed and delivered by Brussels College, adding EU business, regulatory, and market grounding to the Northwood core. Rather than concentrations or majors, the program develops cross-functional analytical and critical-thinking skills applied to the business as a whole, through case analysis, business and management simulations, and workshops.

The program runs over 24 months. Global management perspective is woven through every course, rather than isolated to a single international-business unit.

Program Structure

Northwood University Core — 36 Credit Hours

Delivered under the Northwood-Brussels International Program Center agreement; these 12 courses appear on the Northwood-issued transcript and diploma.

Core Courses (10 courses, 30 credit hours)

Human Behavior in Organizations, Fundamental Concepts & Approaches to Decision Making, Financial Reporting, Business & Economic Policy, Managing & Leading People, Corporate Financial Decision Making, Competitive Strategy & Marketing (plus its Practicum), Strategic Management, and Process Improvement for Managers.

Capstone Courses (2 courses, 6 credit hours)

Integration & Implementation, followed by the MBA Management & Leadership Capstone — a cross-cohort business simulation applying the full program's learning with a balanced-scorecard measurement system.

Brussels College Complementary Units — 24 Credit Hours

Designed and delivered by Brussels College under its own Belgian legal basis as a Private Higher Education Institution (Codex Hoger Onderwijs, Article II.75 §5).
